SPATIAL STRATEGY

Challenging the typology of closed educational institutions, the Viacadamy promotes radical transparency. By rotating the structural volumes, the design opens up a vast central void. An atrium that connects interdisciplinary layers with public life.

VERTICAL CIRCULATION

The circulation space is designed as a continuous journey. As visitors ascend the central Show Staircase, the boundaries between the “zone of movement” and “zone of creation” blur, allowing immediate insight into the work of others. The building itself becomes an exhibition of the design process.

URBAN INTERFACE

The project is strategically positioned to bridge the gap between the subway stations to the northeast and southwest. By analyzing these urban movement flows, the design creates a seamless public thoroughfare that runs directly through the academy. This reinforces the transparency “outwards and inwards,” transforming the daily commute into an interaction with the creative process.
